RENO, Nevada (January 7, 2016) – PCB Solutions, a provider of high-quality printed circuit board manufacturing, is pleased to announce the winner of the Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship essay contest. Carson Mulligan, an economics major from Oklahoma State University, was selected from more than 50 high level applicants as the winner of a $1,000 scholarship for tuition and books.

With their understanding of the value of education and a desire to give back, PCB Solutions invited students from across the nation to participate in an essay contest where they were asked to discuss their views and ideas on the future global economy. Students were also encouraged to post a video with a short bio, why education is important to them and what they would do with the scholarship money if it was awarded to them.

After reviewing the 50 applications that came both in the form of written essays and short video clips, Mulligan stood out for his discussion of the topic, “How do you envision the global economy in the future?” Mulligan set himself apart from other applicants with his quick response to the scholarship, his detailed and well researched essay, and the demonstration of a great deal of effort.
