As my readers know, I have started this multi-part story touching on the vast range of suppliers in our PCB market space. Not many know the vast array of suppliers with hit and miss capabilities and quality. No Asian supplier ever says no to an order or opportunity but you should be very weary of the empty promises disguised in enthusiastic yeses. Not to mention any number of tactics which include being a trading company that farms out projects based any number of people within their circle to being a trading company that will do any type of project and claim to do it well. However, we have received those baiting emails with stories of awesomeness and attractiveness only to nearly want to throw up when I wanted through the factory floor.
There are endless stories of investigating a company and seeing how they copy and paste ISO data from one document to another showing no actual control. So many times we received documents with no iso designation on them and only to receive some half brewed document has no ISO designation showing its complete lack of document control. And the stories go on and on.
So, I continue to write and publish about Printed Circuit Board suppliers that flood our email boxes as I try to persuade my reads not to take that leap and deal with the unknown when they can deal with us and be known!
